Episode 12: 3 Shifts to Make When You’re Stuck in a Freelance Rut

Ugh. Blegh. Meh.

In a freelance rut, eh? I hear ya. I've been there recently — and many times before. But I've been breaking out of it and gaining some clarity. Need some inspiration and a push?

Try these 3 shifts to get out of your rut:

1. Change your place.

- As in, switch up your workspace and physical location, whether that’s moving around furniture or going to a coffee shop.

2. Change your pace.

- Here's where you need to try a different schedule, whether that's adding in or changing the timing of exercise, meditation, your lunch break and emails. If you're so busy that you need to do back-to-back assignments, are you really focusing and then taking a break in between them?

3. Change your space.

- Think about your mental and emotional space. What needs to be done? What is your focus for the week? How can you move forward with a big goal?
